2015. Copywriting, contributed to content strategy. Big Knockout Boxing is a new combat sport owned by DIRECTV. Its shorter rounds and special ring promote high-octane fights with constant action—giving traditional boxing a run for its money. Designing the brand and writing the site, I developed a punchy tone and chose an aggressive vocabulary. Every creative decision reflects the sport's core attributes—action, action, and more action.
Event over event, BKB hits its mark. The site supported dramatic increases in pay-per-view phone sales and sold-out Mandalay Bay fights.
